Delivery and Collection

Delivery must be to an address in the United Kingdom. 

 

All orders will be dispatched as soon as possible.
Please allow up to 7-10 working days for delivery. 
We will endeavor to offer an approximate delivery time if requested. 

 

Most products are delivered either by courier or by post, depending on their size and value. We will notify you which delivery method we will use when we send you our third e-mail. Very occasionally different products in the same order may be delivered separately.

 

Delivery Area and Charges

 

Delivery of goods will usually be made by Yodel (formerly DHL), specialists in the delivery of goods to home addresses - Yodel have quickly established themselves as one of the leading carriers.

A product may be indicated as “local delivery only” due to its size or fragile nature.  The local delivery charges are setout as above for the following postcodes TN 1-16,ME 1-8, ME 14-16, ME 18-20,DA All Areas,RM All Areas,IG All Areas,E All Areas,SE All Areas,BR All Areas,CR All Areas,SW All Areas,SM All Areas,KT 20 Only,RH 1-3, RH 6-11, RH 18-19.

Gift Vouchers

We use Royal Mail “First Class Recorded Signed For” for our voucher deliveries. All gift voucher orders need to be signed for on delivery. Delivery charges do vary depending on the amount ordered.

Store Collection

Collection from Polhill Garden Centre Sevenoaks is now available and FREE! Simply process your order and select "Collection” and when you receive your confirmation email your order will be ready for collection from Customer Services.  Please bring your email order confirmation with you, which contains your order reference number.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Collection will only be available during Store opening times (Monday to Saturday 9.00am -5.30pm, Sunday 10.30am -4.30pm).

 

Conditions of Delivery

 

ALL goods require a signature upon delivery, if you are unable to sign for them please arrange for them to be delivered to a place where they can be signed for. (Place of work or a neighbour maybe).

Please make sure you keep the receipt enclosed with your goods.


Please check the packaging on your goods for damage and make a note of this when signing for them, ONLY sign as, "received in good condition", if that is ACTUALLY the case. If the goods have been damaged in transit please refuse the delivery at this stage.

If you are out when our courier arrives they will leave a card, please contact the courier on the card to arrange for a convenient time for re-delivery. If the courier is unable to get a signature on the second delivery attempt they will leave a card a final time telling you where you need to go to collect your goods. Any further deliveries will require an additional payment by the customer.

 

Missing, Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We try very hard to ensure that you receive your order in pristine condition. If you do not receive all your products, please check please e-mail us at sales@polhillcentre.co.uk or telephone 01959 534212 (asking for the Polhill Online Department). In the unlikely event that a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us at sales@polhillcentre.co.uk or telephone 01959 534212 (asking for the Polhill Online Department).

 

Busier Period Orders and Deliveries Disclaimer

(April to August inc and November and December)

Please note, whilst we make every effort to deliver your goods as quickly as possible during the busier times as stated above stock levels will start to deplete and the delivery services will be pushed to their maximum capabilities, to avoid disappointment please order your goods as early as possible.

Please make sure you keep the receipt enclosed with your goods.
